I Spy the Color of a Candycane
They are really everywhere
ADDED December 04, 2009
We have all played the classic game "I Spy," where one person picks something to "spy" and others try to guess what it is. It's a fun game, but it's not very festive, so we have invented a new way to play. With some holiday rules and a catchy new name, the game can take on a whole new life.
Here is how you play: first, someone has to say,"I spy the color of a candy cane." This means that they really see two things -- one that is red and one that is white. Then it is up to the other players to guess which two things they see. The player that guesses correctly gets to chose the next "candycane colored objects." Simple festive fun!
This game is great because you automatically get a clue as to what is being spied -- and everyone can play. Of course, if you happen to be near the photo below, then the game becomes much more difficult.
