You and your kids are the newsmakers

Most activities on our site are meant be activities you and your kids can do together. Today's activity is no different, but for today's activity, you are the star . . . and your day is the big news that your family will be discussing. Remember current events in high school? Well, your day is today's current event!

At dinner tonight, make a special point to tell your kids what you did today. Through this, we are hoping that your kids will learn more about what you do. First make sure the kids know what it is that you do, explain to your kids exactly what you do in great detail. If you are the Assistant Regional sales manager, tell your kids what the Assistant Regional sales manager does. Try to tell them every detail no matter how small. Once the kids understand what you do, then fill everybody in on your day, let them know many cups of coffee you had, what time you arrived at work, what you ate for lunch and what the funny guy you always see in the elevator was wearing.

When you are finished, open up the table to questions about your day.
