Knock and Spell
A fun way to learn spelling!

Learning to spell words can be a difficult task, but with a little creativity you can make the formidable enjoyable. I really have my daughter to thank for this activity — she created it all by herself.
Here is what you do: have your kid write all their spelling words on post-it notes. Next, hang all the post-it notes on their door and write some brief instructions on the door. Instructions like, "All who enter here must spell one of these words correctly". Now whenever anyone enters your kid will get a mini-spelling lesson.
This activity is really an incredibly easy way to practice something that has been cause for tears in more than one house. Have fun and remember, "Only the most practiced spellers can enter here!"
